Hot flush ?

I am 52 and definitely peri-menopausal. My periods have become quite erratic - I should track really, but I think my last one was about May?

Recently I've been getting 'warm' flushes. Lasts a minute of so then abates. I know the weather is possibly a factor, but it seems like it is a hot flush. i always thought it would be more sweaty, clammy, extreme though?

Could this be it? If it doesn't get worse than this then I'm happy. I do find that when I exercise it takes me a long time to cool down afterwards. After yesterday's run I was still feeling sweaty for a couple of hours after.

DH is finding it highly amusing when I keep going to stand outside....

It way I can describe mine.. When you step off a cool plane in a hot country and the second you step foot outside WHAM the heat hits you for about a minute or so

Gisafag - and only lasts for a short time?

It's very odd. Definitely isn't the weather as it's been quite cool and still happening.

Not particularly sweaty. I guess it affects each woman differently.

During the day mine creep up my back and then my face feels hot. They don't last long and don't make me sweaty. But the night sweats - OMG. Hideous.

My flushes were 1-2 minutes long. No sweating but they came once an hour all day long for no apparent reason.

Couldn't bear it in a client facing role (listening mode 1:1) so onto hrt.

In the past few days I haven't had any. The weather here has been noticeably cooler so maybe its my thermostat. Overheating when the weather is warm..

I'll see what happens after my weekend wine. 😂
