HRT and itching

Hi, did anyone have any issues with itching? I’ve been on Evorel Conti for just over 4 wks now and I’m itchy all over. Not horrific but annoying. Just wondered if it could be a side effect of the patches or if I would have noticed this earlier on.

Hi,
I have not been on HRT.
I'm 53 and post menopausal.
I can confirm itching all over including a vaginal thrush like itch were symptoms of menopause for me for many years. I take a daily antihistamine.
However as your itching coincides with HRT you may need to consult your gp.

I have to take piriton daily to stop the bloody incessant itching. It is a symptom of peri and meno.

Also I was constantly thinking I had thrush for about 4 days a month. It wasn't until I started writing it all down that I realised it was the same point in my cycle every month.

Can’t stand the itching part of menopause
I’ve had it years and I’m definitely post menopause
It’s like someone flicked an elastic band at me, and I have to itch. Comes from nowhere
