Hi
I am 45 and have noticed the past 3 years that I have one week a month when I feel amazing
I feel happy sexy libido is high and I love life
But then I have my pms week I'm really low no sexy drive moody and hard work tired all the time
The pms week is creeping into my other weeks of the month and I literally only have one week of the month where I feel myself
My periods are regular and my cycle is regular
Has anyone else experienced this and can suggest anything to take as it seems my estrogen must be high during fertile week but don't know what to take to keep it that way

Yes, you have described it perfectly!

Like a kind of creeping PMT that takes over the whole of the month.

I hate to say that the little window in the first phase of your cycle when you do feel good shrinks too, as oestrogen starts to fall, but it seems to be progesterone first - that was the case with me.

I now feel crap all the time, with maybe one decent day mid-month, and I am going to see a menopause specialist. I have had a couple of short cycles but otherwise have quite regular periods (they've gone to roughly five week cycles and gotten lighter).

You might benefit from progesterone, rather than oestrogen - too much unopposed oestrogen is dangerous. Is your doctor one of the good ones? If you read these Menopause threads you'll discover that receiving good, well informed treatment from the NHS is very hit and miss!
