Just that really. Does anyone else think that nausea and/or vomiting could be a symptom of the menopause?

No.

How often does this happen?

Bubblebu · 23/06/2020 11:28

Thank you for replying Jingling.

About every 3 or 4 days

How old are you OP?

Bubblebu · 23/06/2020 12:05

Taking letrozole for breast cancer (just finished radiotherapy but they told me that nausea is not a side effect of radiotherapy)

I wonder if it could be a side effect of the meds?
I think you should talk to your doctor or specialist nurse.
I am sorry you are going through this.
I have a chronic condition and some of the drugs they have tried made me so ill. It is awful.

Sorry to hear about your cancer.

You need to discuss with your oncologist.

I have just looked up letrozol side effects. Headache, nausea and vomiting are top of the list.
Contact your doctor. I am sure they will prescribe something to help.

Bubblebu I would definitely ring the GP regarding medication side effects
.Just to add I did have nausea and dizziness at the beginning of the perimenopause.Just like morning sickness!.I even felt sick travelling on small journeys.I did go away. There was a thread about it on here where several women felt the same which I found reassuring.

jackdawdawn · 25/06/2020 11:03

@whatisforteamum me too. I have slight nausea in the mornings and often wake with a mild headache. I'd imagine it is hormonal. It is usually mentioned in those v,v, lonnnng lists of menopause/perimenopause symptoms. @Bubblebu you are on medication so it could be either, or the medication could be exacerbating it.
