Mirena coil and hrt

I've written about feeling depressed on a mental health forum. I'm on the mirena coil and take hrt and I'm thinking of coming off them. I started on the coil for bleeding and hrt because of low moods.
I'm 54 now, I'm not sure that that's relevant. I don't really think that the hrt has helped my mood and I wonder whether the mirena coil is contributive to feeling low.
I have tried everything from exercise getting enough sleep etc. Has anyone else had problems with the coil? I had it in my late 30s and it was OK I had it removed because I was bloated.
I would love to think this was causing my low moods and that there was an answer to why I'm feeling this way.

Can I just ask- you say you have the Mirena and take HRT?

You aren't by any chance doubling up on progesterone? You get it from the Mirena so all you need as your HRT is estrogen- pill, patch or gel.

If you are taking combined HRT which also has progesterone in it (and no dr should have prescribed that!) it will account for the moods.

Unfortunately not! its just the Estrogen part.!
