POI and menopause

Hi all. I’ve been recently diagnosed with POI and premature menopause and started Evorel Sequi which I’ve been taking for about 3 months.

The main symptoms for me which don’t seem to be shifting are daily fatigue and struggling to wake up in the morning, dry, tired eyes and body aches.

I am already on thyroxin for a thyroid problem and have my levels checked regularly and all my vitamin levels etc are fine. I take the Menopace supplement as well as a matcha green tea and turmeric supplement to try to help with energy.

I’m considering trying oestrogen gel with utrogestan tablets to see if that helps me more and I’m going to talk to my consultant this week about trying the testosterone gel.

Does anyone have any other experiences or suggestions with changing things up bit to try and alleviate similar, ongoing symptoms?

Are you under a menopause specialist? If not you ought to be.

The possibility is the dose is just too low for you.

Have you heard of the Daisy Network? This is a support group for POI run by consultants at the Chelsea and Westminster, London. You have to join to use the forum but they also do chats with drs so it' s worth the cost IMO.

Have aread of the website.
