I have irregular periods and hot flushes at night keeping me awake.

Last year GP gave me evorel sequi patches, but I only had one months worth before they became unavailable.

Ive just restarted them, and have applied the first patch 3 days ago. So far I don’t feel any different. I particularly want the hot flushes to go away.

How long so I need to use the patches for before I can feel a difference?

The medical guidance says 12 weeks to make a decision if it' s the right dose. You aren't going to see a difference in days- it's not like a painkiller, for example, it will take a couple of weeks at least to start to get into your system.

Ah thanks for that. I have been given 3 mths worth this time so hopefully by the end of that time I will know whether they are right or not.
