Provera Tablets

Hi

I have HRT patches and take Provera tablets for 12 days and then have a break and then start again.

I'm finding that the Provera makes me feel drowsy, on the first day of taking it I bleed just for a day and I have a yellowish discharge.

I'm hoping to try something different. When I am not taking it I feel great with just the HRT patch.

Have any of you had similar experiences with Provera and have you found something better? Thanks Thanks

Utrogestan is your alternative but it can also be sedating. You can use it vaginally to avoid this though the licencing in the UK doesn't 'allow' this, but specialists say it's fine and i s common all over Europe.

@JinglingHellsBells thanks for your reply. I may mention this to my GP

Most specialists are going with Utrogestan these days as it's a natural progesterone and provera is synthetic.
