They are horrible. I’m getting them every 45 min ish and they just make me feel so ill. When they build I feel a sort of heavy pressure in the back of my neck and chest before I get hot, just horrible.
I’m currently fanning with a book, helps a bit, have a face spray that is no help as makes my face dry, I’m wearing thin clothes.
Sleeping is rubbish, wouldn’t say I’m sweating loads but so hot. Window is open but duvet on and off all night, so hot and feeling ill when they build too.
I did get flushes last year for a couple of months and they stopped, but have been back since March.
Any wonder tips gratefully received, Thank you

No need to suffer.

HRT newer research has disproved some of the earlier scares. I have Mirena coil and oestrogen patch. Feel much better and no hot flushes.
Oestrogen also good for preventing osteoporosis and protects against heart disease.
