I’m sure perimenopause is buggering up my digestion

I’m 47 and have had IBS for the last 21 years but it’s been so much worse the last couple of years.
Last year I had a clear colonoscopy, gastroscope with biopsies, ultra sound scan and CT scan.
I’ve tried changing my diet, tweaking the foods I eat and have tried the low fodmap diet 3 times under a dietician but still I have issues.
I get bloating, gas, nausea, acid and pain , lots of burping, grumbling and gurgling guts. I literally feel like my whole digestive system is unhappy.
I do wonder if hormones are playing a part as I do see a slight pattern ie:- toward the end of my period and for a few days after I am often virtually symptom free (blissful time), then towards mid cycle the symptoms ramp up again for around 5-7 days, then a couple of ok days 7-10 days before period followed by horrible symptoms before period and for the first few days of period.
I’ve had enough, my gp doesn’t know what to offer (IBS meds don’t help much) and the gastroenterologist has discharged me as all the tests are clear.
Could the be a hormonal/perimenopause thing? Anyone else suffering?

I have noticed that I have become much more sensitive to dairy and have had to really cut it to a minimum. Not sure if it's linked!

I think it is, I gave up dairy 15 years ago, I had frequent IBS-d and it did sort that out. I just can’t get a grip of this gassiness though!
