Referral to gynae unit - West Middlesex? Chelsea and Westminster?

I've had an urgent referral after an ultrasound (apparently there were some areas of the uterus that they couldn't see in enough detail and maybe a polyp). I said West Mid would be fine but now wondering if I should ring back and ask to be referred to Chelsea and Westminster.
I'm increasingly anxious about painful examinations and dreading whatever's coming next.

The C&W is great for menopause issues as they have a special clinic. But presumably that is not the clinic you'd be going to. Know nothing about the other one.

Maybe look online at reviews and quality ratings?

Are they planning to do a hysteroscopy? Try not to worry. I had one and it was fine- no pain really at all.

Hoping to get my foot in the door re menopause clinic while I'm there Smile but not sure if that's how it works.
They were described to me as sister hospitals with some staff going between both, and both have a meno clinic.
Since I posted dh messaged someone he knows and apparently they're very good, which is a relief. Problem with C&W is covid-related travel issues, maybe in future it will be less complicated.
Idk if they'll do a hysteroscopy. Hoping for a second clearer US. I understand it may not have been clear due to time in my cycle.
I've never really bothered too much about this kind of thing, but as I get older and have more discomfort during procedures I've hit a wall, I just don't want any part of any of it. I wish they'd just dart me like an elephant, get it done.
