No periods for 18 months but still getting other monthly symptoms?

Is it possible that if your periods have stopped and you are officially in menopause that you can still get other monthly symptoms that you used to get when you had your period?

I seem to get an emotional few days, aches, fatigue, dizziness and sweats in a monthly cycle.

Is that a thing?

I too feel that I still experience some cyclical symptoms. I will get the egg white discharge, feel particularly emotional, sleep a bit better or even much worse, and get a sudden outbreak of acne. No period for two years though.

@dontdisturbmenow thank you for replying. That helps me to know I'm not alone. I just wondered if I was imagining it all.

Me too. I have PMS for a couple of days a month. The anger towards my lovely family for one day a month is still very strong Confused. I can feel it brewing and give the family a warning, - stay the fuck away from me. It soon passes and I'm back to lovely mum again Wink . Haven't had a period for over a year .

I also get cramps and my skin does some weird stuff especially on my hands . I have started writing it in my calendar to see a pattern

Glad I'm not alone! I will start a calendar too, good idea.
