I'm 43 and have now been on the yasmine pill a good few years. In the past 3ish years, I've had:
~ No sex drive
~ Dry and sore down there. Sex hurts
~ More frequent urination at night (sometimes worse than others. Affects at night more than day)
~ High anxiety (although I'm an anxious person anyway)
~ Down, lethargy, lack of motivation
~ Struggle to keep weight down. My BMI is 28 - 29 and I struggle to at least keep it below 30

Can you get perimenopause on the pill?

Also, Can you switch from pill to HRT and not risk pregnancy?

I've an appointment pending with a gyno but checking here for other people's experiences first...

Yes, of course

Absolutely not! HRT is not a contraceptive at all.

Are you having periods on the pill or not?
Is Yasmine a mini pill or combined?

You are having symptoms very early and the advice may well be to drop the Pill, use HRT and find another type of birth control, like the Mirena coil which provides the progesterone side of HRT. Early menopause is associated with long term health issues so you do need to seek advice and some treatment from what you have said.
