Hi does anyone suffer with leg pain at night
I don’t have pain during the day but when I’m in bed at night I experience pain in my knees and shins , I’ve spoken to my Dr & I’m trying to get a blood test

Low calcium, low magnesium, and low potassium levels are the first things that spring to mind. Taking calcium and magnesium has helped me enormously.

Thankyou for your reply , I can’t sleep at night the only way to ease the pain is to sleep on my back which I can’t

Perhaps start using a magnesium spray or taking a supplement and see if that helps.

I am worried about what’s causing it Aquamarine , I’m fine during the day I can get hip pain if I do a lot of walking
The Dr wants me to have a blood test for Vit D and vine profile

I use a magnesium oxide supplement, and it works well for me. Lots of people use a spray and find it very effective, but I haven't used one myself. Peri-menopause/menopause can bring about a lot of aches and pains, so what you're experiencing is by no means unusual. Do you have other symptoms and are you taking HRT?

I’m not taking HRT and no other symptoms really , I do feel tired all the time but I think
That’s purely because I don’t sleep well
