Dr suggested a mini pill trial a few months ago as my anxiety had sky rocketed and appeared to be tied to my cycle. It has worked wonders which I didn't expect and other than a tiny bit of spotting to start, no periods. The only down side is that my sex drive has reduced a little, although definitely still there and possibly a bit of vaginal dryness.
I was thinking of asking about the mirena. I don't think I need any hrt yet (45, no other real symptoms other than the anxiety and a bit of achy joints). I don't need it for contraception at all as I have no tubes so it's just to basically to stop ovulation.
