I’m 51 and hadn’t had a period for about 4 months So thought they might’ve stopped. Then suddenly, this weekend, I got a really heavy period. I had terrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea last Night and I’m having to change my tampon every hour or so and wear pads. That’s never happened before. Is this all normal? Peri menopausal maybe?
