Patch Shortages

Hello ladies, need some advice on supply .. I was previously on the conti patches which worked well. Sadly supplies dwindled and I had to pay 3 times the price at an online pharmacy then they also run out! Tried a tablet alternative prescribed by the doctor which sent me mad to say the least! Decided to stop all hrt and go cold turkey.. in lockdown.. needless to say I'm having terrible night sweats all over again and I'm really feeling down about it all. Is it worth going back to the doctor and trying again? I'm exhausted with all this! Have supplies started to come back into the chemists or am I waisting my time even thinking about it. The private pharmacy is still saying out of stock.. so I'm not holding out much hope 😐

You could try estrogel with utrogestan. I don’t think there is a shortage of these. I was on estrogen patches but was switched to a different brand due to the shortages and was allergic to the glue on the new brand so switched to the gel and it has been fine.
