Skin breakouts/spots

I'm 47, nearly 48. My periods have been erratic for a couple of years but still having them. No major symptoms yet other than my skin which is horrendous.
My skin on my body, arms and legs is very dry and itchy. My skin on my face is also dry and feels tight however i am also plagued with zits. For the past couple of weeks i have had approx 20 small ones with very red skin along by hairline on my forehead and several white heads on these in the morning. I have got bigger red sore spots on my cheeks, and chin.
I have always had good clear skin with a few zit breakouts usually linked to periods. However my skin for the past few weeks has been awful and is constant now. I'm assuming its due to changing hormone levels.
Has anyone got any recommendations for anything they have used to help with this problem? I have not been to the GP yet and obviously would not get an appointment at the moment.

GPs are doing phone and video appts so it's not impossible they could 'see' you.

It sounds like adult acne- can start with hormonal changes.

You do need to see a dr and they might prescribe anti biotics or lotions.
