When do you use vaginal oestrogen?

I mean what time of day? It seems that if you have sex right after putting it in - as the leaflet recommends, before bedtime - it’s not only less well absorbed by you but also transfers to your (male) partner if you have sex (ref: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18251358/)
So I wondered, if you use it, at what time of day do you use it? I’m at least 2.5 years post menopause, not taking any other HRT but definitely feeling dryness and discomfort during sex. Any experiences?

Initially it' s used for 14 days then twice a week.

The reason for night time use is so gravity ( walking around in the day) doesn't make it slip out too soon.

You can use it daytime but you might lose a lot.

So, it's daytime sex or no sex for you on Ovestin nights {smile]

Daytime sex during lockdown with my 12 year old DS might be slightly problematic but thank you! Grin

Once you get past the 14 days it's only used once or twice a week so assume you can both resist!
