Hair loss in peri

Hi - I just need to talk about this. Am in peri menopause. Periods are all over the place, sometimes huge gap, sometimes very heavy, sometimes close together and then today the resurgence of a week long period. Anyway the hair loss is weird, anyone else suffering with this? My hairline is rising and rising and I seem to have lost most of the hair on my arms, lower legs and even the hair on my fingers...not bikini line though Hmm
I had some blood tests before and things were normal (can't remember what they tested for but I had blood tests and a scan) but it just seems the hair thing is bad now.
Anyone else? Anything else I can do - am taking a hair, skin and nail supplement but no improvement at all...Sad

Hypothyroidism can also cause hair loss especially if undiagnosed for a long time. Don’t presume it’s Peri related. Even if your thyroid is slightly out it can cause symptoms.

Thanks - am sure the gp checked my thyroid levels before but guess it's worth looking at again

Definitely worth getting it rechecked.
