No ovaries but on HRT and just started bleeding

Im a bit like wft. I've been on Femoston for a month, not overly impressed although the hit flushes seem to be fading. The last few days I've had the back niggles like I used to when I had periods and lo and behold, I have started bleeding. I assumed because I have no ovaries and haven't had for almost a year I wouldn't bleed, where am I actually bleeding from and will this be a regular thing now? The reason for my last ovary being removed was for bad periods, so I really don't want to be going through all that again. Shoud I come off the HRT or will the bleeding go?

HRT doesn't do "anything" to ovaries. So it's irrelevant if you have any or not- it doesn't start ovulation again.

The bleed is a withdrawal bleed.

Estrogen builds up the womb lining. To stop is getting too thick you have a withdrawal bleed using the type you are on.

If you have not had a period for at least 12 months you can use a no-bleed type.

As you haven;t any ovaries your dr ought to have stared you on the no-bleed type.

I was on zoladex before my op to stop my periods but had to wait a bit between the last injection and the op so had my last period in June. I'm going to come off the Femoston, wait till June then go back and see if I can go on a no bleed type, really can't be dealing with the menopause plus period pains at the same time.
