I am 56 and been on hrt a few years now had to change quite a few times due to them being unavailable up until October 2018 I was on sequel but my periods was so painful and with lower back problems my doctor change them to conti kliofem , I found these brilliant no symptoms at all, 6 months after starting them I had slight spotting for a few weeks then a heavy bleed my doctor referred me to see a gynocologist to check for polyps by the time I had my appointment I was just spotting on and off he done an examanation and was told all was ok no polyps carry on but go back only if heavy bleeding occurs I also had a vaginal scan to check and all was ok. Now since January I'm having more spotting nothing really seems to be on my underwear its when I use the loo and wipe I get brown discharge and slight clots I went back to the doctors today as getting concerned and was given an internal with swabs taken and when she done the swab it collected really dark clots I'm getting really worried now. The doctor didn't want to change my hrt or take me off them at this stage as I feel so good on them she as give me vagifem to use twice a week to see if this stops it she was then going to speak with her colleague to see if I need to be seen again at the hospital I am worrying myself silly as anybody experienced anything similar
