I'm 50 and no symptoms, except increasingly itchy skin, especially at night. Periods as regular as they've ever been.

All my friends seem to be well into perimenopause or already through it.

What's the latest I should start noticing something? I Know, careful what you wish for but I want to get it over with!

I really wouldn't want to wait for 'it' to end!

In all honesty you may feel worse, post menopause. (That's why women go onto HRT)

Periods may be a PITA but what comes along instead can be pretty rubbish and many women (not using hrt) have flushes, sweats, mood swings, weight gain, aches and pains, bone density loss, pelvic floor issues....all down to loss of estrogen.

First sign of menopause coming along is erratic periods- shorter or longer cycles.
