Sorry but me again regarding dosage

Sorry but still somethings have not been cleared in my mind.Just want to double check with you all that 50mg estrogen patch everyday isn t too much and ok. ?Accordingly l will be taking 200mg progestan for 12 days, from day 15th to 26th. Will l give a week break after the 26th? Also is it ok to take both of the progestin gel tablets with dinner? Doctor said two times a day but, l know that they make you dizzy and sleepy. You take Utrogestan once a day at bedtime. That's 2 x 100 mgs capsules.

They are not progestin 'gel'. It's a waxy capsule but def not a gel.

A break from what?

You use the patch every day and change it however many times as instructed over a week. You don't have a break from it.
50mcg is a medium dose.

All this ought to be on the leaflets in your box of patches and Utrogestan.

Are you changing your patch every day? Patches are usually changed once or twice a week, what brand are they?
You usually take progesterone pills for 12 days and a lot of women take both before bed on an empty stomach because of the drowsy effect.

Hello and than you for replies. Yes sorry my mistake the name written on the box is Progestan micronised soft capsules, yes doctor told me to wear the patches every day and change each week, add the Progestan for the last 12 days and said when Progestan finishishes l m supposed to bleed. He said l should give 1 week break of using Hrt after the progestan finishes, he means durung the time l will be bleeding. 1 week of not using the estrogen patches, then start again. Let s say l will bleed only for 3 days after progestan, will l still give a week break. Thats exactly what he told me. 4 weeks of estrogen patches, add progestan on the last two weeks , then give a week break ( don t use anything) then start with the patches again.

You are not supposed to stop using the patches for a week. The normal way is to use them all the time.

As jingling said you don't have a break from the oestrogen patches you wear them all the time.

I m in south of Turkey and went to a really good private doctor which was quite expensive and this is exactly what he told me. To give a break for a week after the Progesterone. What should l do l m really confused. Maybe l should contact him and say UK friends say otherwise.

Am l supposed to use the patch during the bleed and right after the Progesterone ?

I mean am l suppose to continue the estrogen patches right after progesterone and even if l m bleeding

You use the oestrogen patch all the time you don't take a break at all, you need a continuous dose or your symptoms will return.

As above. You don't stop using the patch when you are bleeding.
