HRT Treatments HELP

I’m 1 and a half years post menopause.
What is the best HRT Treatments?
I’m on Evorel conti patches are they any good ? Been on them about 7 months.
I’ve got a delicate stomach with Gastritis so opted for patches.
But I’ve noticed my skin is
Flaking away where the patches have been and my skin is getting itchy.
Anyone else noticing this ?
My skin is so dry it’s actually cracking on my face I thought the patches might help with this . .

Just bumping this up as I’m wondering what works best ,

If your skin reacts to patches - where they are sticking- you could change to estrogen gel and a separate progesterone.

The skin on your face sounds like something unconnected.
Are you using a decent moisturiser, not washing your face with hard water, etc?

Very dry skin all over can be a sign of thyroid deficiency- have you had yours checked?

I’m just washing with water at the moment as all soap is burning me.
I’ve tried Cerave hydrating face wash and I’m filtering water to wash my face with. I’m using soolantra for rosacea and been trying to use fineca gel.
I did have my thyroid tested last year and I think it was ok .
But I’m shaking and face is sweating all the time and I have chronic fatigue.

Oh I’m using Cerave moisturising lotion.

I think you ought to see a dermatologist. This doesn't sound anything to do with HRT. If you already have rosacea the skin condition could be related to that. HRT won't help a skin condition that needs treatment anyway. Either see a dermo privately (their waiting lists are months long) or go onto the NHS list? I think you ought to see your GP anyway.

I’ve already been the NHS one I saw at Calow hospital Chesterfield didn’t even look at me. He just said have you tried washing your face with shampoo. That was his only suggestion I waited months for that
So I paid private and that Doc suggested antibiotics but my stomach is shot already.
But GP has suggested an immunologist.

Why did your Dr suggest antibiotics? They are for acne not dry skin. Are you asking enough questions at your appointments because it sounds as if you are being fobbed off with ridiculous suggestions that are totally barmy! Shampoo for dry cracked skin?

Apparently the doc at the hospital was a stand in after waiting 4 months. I I can’t believe how much these so called docs get paid. He spent half the appointment singing to himself and looking for a pen.
The second I paid private and he diagnosed rosacea plus my eyes keep swelling. So recommend antibiotics and soolantra bui I opted for soolantra.
But my face is sweating all the time but it’s dry and cracking. And I. Shaking something is wrong but nothing is showing up. I’m not an anxious person . I’m just suffering all these symptoms with no answers

Maybe you just need a higher dose of estrogen.

Talk to your GP or ask for a referral to a menopause clinic.

Or another option is to change from conti HRT to sequi. Using both hormones daily as in conti doesn't suit many women. You can carry on with sequi even long after your natural periods have stopped.

Are you switching sides when you change the patch twice a week? I was told to alternate sides and apply them below the waist. I also used to put them in a different spot each time and never had problems with the area where I applied them.

For your face, probably best to see a dermatologist as it may not be related.
