So I'm 41, period is now 9 days late. Have done two tests today both negative but not with FMU.

I have insanely tingly nipples, sore boobs and they feel bigger. / tender. No other symptoms.

I've had peri symptoms for a while, is this something else that happens?

Periods are between 24 and 34 days usually, today is day 43.

I don't want to be pregnant, and need to know if I am to make decisions. Surely it would show up on a test by now?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Don’t want to worry you but This happened to me and I was pregnant. Didn’t show up til two weeks. My previous pregnancies showed up earlier.
Test again in a few days.

Thanks @charles11, my gut feel is that I am but I need a test to show it up! I have twins, and they didnt show a line until I was a couple pf days over either.

It sounds like peri to me. My periods were almost normal but very light when I diagnosed with early meno at 42. Check your FSH.
