Help! I was put on HRT approx 2 years ago, at this point I hadn't had a period for about 7/8 months. I am currently taking femoston 2/10 mg which don't seem to be doing any good. I'm 49 and over the last 4 years I haven't felt like myself, exhausted. poor sleep, depressed, no interest in doing anything, body pain... in back, hips, legs, brain fog, memory problems, anxiety even weight loss, I could go on...I was diagnosed eventually with CFS/ME in April of this year. But as there is no specific medication for this I have had to just plod on (every day it's like wading through mud I'm that exhausted). Now I'm wondering if all this is just down to menopause. I had bloods taken a week ago all came back okay apart from my FSH test which were at 61 ( is this high?) The doctor also said my progesterone is very low and my pituitary gland is working overtime to compensate, he has now put me on Femoston Conti 1/5 which I believe is for post menopausal women? I don't know whether I'm coming or going, can anyone help..please

Yeah, your FSH indicates menopause. Maybe you need try different types of hrt, until you find which you suits you better.
