Tridestra not working?

Hi I was on patches which were working well but due to the supply issues am now on Tridestra. I’ve been taking it for 3 weeks answering your period just started. The pack said no periods for 2 months. My other symptoms have come back inc night sweat and anxiety. Anyone else taking these and did they take ages to work?

If you aren't yet post meno it's likely to be your own natural period. Tridestra only gives a period after 12 weeks and you won't be on the progestin part yet.

Thanks jingle - so did I just not understand the leaflet? I am peri and still have periods monthly. Does the skipping periods bit only apply to menopause?

I'm not sure I understand your question! :)

Peri menopause usually involves erratic cycles- longer or shorter.

If you are still having regular periods of your own, is it possible the bleed now is your own period and not one created by the Tridestra?

How long is it since your own period?

Sorry jingles! I blame my peri brain fog for my garbled message.

I thought I would skip periods being on this one (my misunderstanding I think). It doesn’t seem to be working as well as my patches and I think my question is how long should it take for brain fog and night sweats to go? It’s been 3 weeks on this product.
