No hot flushes?!

So I am 52 and not had a period for 9 months. But NO hot flushes! None! Day or night. Does this mean that technically in three months I'm in menopause and that I'll never get any flushes? This would be so great! I don't want to count my chickens though ...

I didn’t have a single hot flush, or many other symptoms. Just a shorter gap between periods (had a long irregular cycle of 30-34 days, down to 24-25 days) which I wasn’t happy about! Just a word of warning - after about 14 months period-free i had one out of the blue, and of course had no supplies. GP said this is quite common.

You might get them later, or you might be lucky and not. I'm 55, out the other side now, and I've never had a hot flush. Just a general sense of being warmer than when I was younger, as if my internal thermostat has been turned up by a few degrees, and that seems to have settled down in the last couple of years. If you don't get them be very thankful, hot flushes can be utterly miserable for some women. I'm grateful to have (hopefully) avoided them so far.

I only really ever had night sweats--barely anything during the day that was a flush. BUT, I had period starting again after 11 months. And then after eight months... It ain't over till it's over.

I didnt get any hot flushes. Had some very heavy periods before but that was it. No symptoms at all.
