So how long until you stopped carrying supplies around?

I have finally passed the magic 1 year period free milestone.
Almost got there last year but after 50 weeks we had a final fling.

Because of that I have been carrying emergency tampons/pads everywhere, packing them on holiday, in case caught out. I now feel like I ought to be able to stop, and just leave emergency supplies at home, but it made me wonder at what point do you clear them all out/pass onto daughter (who has left home) etc.

Just worry it is almost tempting fate to have a grand clear out!

Me too ! Finally 12 months this week after going 10 month last year . Still thinking it's not over and have supplies in handbags ! Hoping things might get a bit better but night sweats have increased this last week ? Still panicking im going to have one last period ! Fingers crossed we are both done for good :)

Yes, I also have had increased night flushes which is so annoying, but I’m convincing myself it’s just everything giving up and waving goodbye (although my Dmum says she still gets them at 77!)

@Milliways if you are over 50, you have probably seen the last of them but not if you are under 50.

Unfortunately, many of the symptoms of menopause just appear when periods stop- mine did- because that's when you stop producing as much estrogen. My mum too says she had flushes into her 80s.

Yep, in my fifties so hopefully have seen the last of them (especially as any appearing after one year always require invesigating).

I'm nearly five months into menopause and I still take my Mooncup every where I go! I feel the same - when should I stop?

I too have more hot flushes now than I ever had.
