Could this be the menopause?

Since the birth of DC2 two years ago, I've suffered night sweats, terrible initially postpartum and then calming down and now getting more regular, even when it's freezing I have to wear nothing more than knickers.

My periods have also changed, slightly heavier and slightly longer. They're still regular but probably a day or two out of their previous strict routine.

My PMT has reached what I would term almost dangerous proportions, literally pure white hot rage.

So, getting an inkling I started taking a menopause supplement, I got one with two different kinds of tablet that seems to cover the broad spectrum of what was meant to work (despite googling and seeing that there wasn't really much proven science to back them up), but lo and behold the night sweats stopped and the rage became manageable... I didn't take them for a couple of days and the sweats were back...

Could this be the start? I'm 37...

Can you asked your mum when she went through the Menopause. It's not scientific but daughters often follow the path of thier mothers .
You could get a blood test at the Dr to confirm your hormones have decreased. I'm on hrt and after several attempts have finally found a suitable one that suits me. Life is calm and stable.
If you are concerned ask to speak to your menopause Dr in your surgery.

I think this could be the perimenopause but agree with PP get your hormone levels checked - to make sure you're making/getting enough oestrogen and/or rule it out if it's something else.
