Utogestran and Estradol cream

Hi sorry my spelling isn't great so I probably have misspelt these two things. After being on Everol Sequi for six months I am going on to the cream and progesterone. It's not my first HRT I have been using HRT in some form for 3 to 4 years. Going onto the new regime due to the lack of patches in production and just wondered how everybody who takes this is getting on with it? And just checking from some of the experts on here but what I have been prescribed is correct. I have been told to take the cream one pump on each arm every day of the month and the progesterone for the last two weeks. Does that sound right? On here I have seen 12 days instead of 14. Thank you.

Just so you know...it's not a cream, it's a gel. It's clear and has no colour. The cream estrodiol is for vaginal use and I assume you have been prescribed Estrogel?

The usual dose is 2 pumps per day (apply to upper arms or inner thighs) and 12 days Utrogestan each 28 days.

I'm assuming that the progesterone is equivalent to the very low dose patches that I've been taking but the pharmacist didn't seem to know. The milligram of the progesterone is 100 mg per tablet

Did your Gp not explain the dosage? Pretty bad if they have left it you to find out!

The dose is 200mgs for 12 days so you use 2 tablets each day.

The instructions are on the leaflet in the pack when you get it, or you can google and the patient leaflet info comes up online.

@JinglingHellsBells thanks I'll do that . No it was practice nurse who's fairly new in dealing with all the menopausal women in the surgery - not to dismiss her though she does know a fair amount just not clear .
