Feeling crap about myself in that menopausal way. My life is rubbish, it really is not but its just a horrible feeling I cannot shake. What kind of things help you?
I'm going to start by getting an early night tomorrow night (I'm night shift tonight)
Get more fruit and vegetables.
Go for a nice coffee. I already do loads of exercise.
Any other ideas?

Hi! I try not to think so much about it! I feel that when I think so much about myself, my health, my appearance etc, I create new problems and anxiety. When I just go on my life I feel like my old self! :)

My grandmother used to do what she called her, "£2 treat" now it would have to be at least £10.

She didn't drive so she would get a bus/train to another town, mooch around the shops, have a nice coffee and cake somewhere and buy a magazine for the journey home.

Keeping busy it's the only way. Deep cleaning the house / decorating / small projects in the garden.
I'm only 44 and have started the peri menopause , I'm lucky that I have a young child to keep me perky but when he's with his dad I start to feel awful about everything. It's not a busy time of year for us at work so ive started decorating.

Two squares of dark chocolate with my afternoon tea, weight training class outside in the frost first thing in the morning🥶

Definitely keeping busy. I'm worse when sitting thinking about it. At work I'm so rushed off my feet I forget my aches and pains for a couple of hours.

I really watch my diet now, and take multi-everything. I'm on thyroid medication and HRT. I'm ticking along ok.
