Mirena coli

Hi, I had a small fibroid removed last month , by myosure . Quick recovery time. As I have heavy periods they said a Mirena coil would help. Don't know a lot about this any advise pros and cons

I have fibroids and used to have horrendous periods, I got a mirena 3 years ago and haven't had a period in 2 1/2 years it's been brill. The mirena can prevent fibroids from growing as the lining of the womb doesn't grow. On the negative side if you have realatively large fibroids they can push the mirena out of place. The mirena has been a total lifesaver for me so would deff recommend it.

I've fibroids too and heavy periods and I'm hoping to get a mirena.
