Is it normal to feel this, just started HRT

Hi all, not long been on (3 weeks) evorel conti, my mood has gone down considerably, people are getting on my nerves and i feel moody, closed off etc. In other respects things have improved a bit. Is it the hormones, will it calm down? I do suffer with depression and anxiety so maybe im more inclined to get this side affect

The problem could be the progesterone element of the medication. I took a form of hrt where the you only take progesterone for part of the month and I couldn't tolerate the progesterone it at all. It was like the worst PMT. I changed to continuous estrogen patches combined with a Mirena coil and this completely solved the problem.

Ok thanks. Im not keen on having another coil, especially as i dont have periods anymore

This is interesting I feel my mood had dipped to.Then again I do have a chest infection and throat infection at the moment.I am interested to read the other replies.

Whatisforteammum, i got a cough as soon as i started it, wonder if there is a connection ?
