Mirena coil and hrt patches, seem to have a week from hell.

Sorry cannot remember the name of my patches but I've also got the mirena coil.
Most of the time I feel fine but then after 5 or 6 weeks I seem to go through a time of low mood tearfulness and generally feeling awful. Why is this happening is this similar to pmt? I'm wondering if it's worth staying on the patches!

How long have you had the coil?

Almost two years but I started hrt end of march.

How about Oestrogel pump-pack 0.06 gel?
Is anyone on the gel? Does it help ?
My OB just recommended it to me .
His wife is on it too.
Better than patches.
He swears by it and says all his patients love it.

I have the mérena coil for few years too
