In my perimenopause I had a very sore tongue with small cracks, and also cracks at the corner of my mouth, amongst a host of other problems. It transpired that I was very anaemic due to heavy periods and flooding. Is anaemia a possibility?

I'm sorry to hear about your problem, it can be very painful. I remember that even toothpaste when brushing my teeth would make my eyes water with the pain.

Yes me to Last week😢Apparently it's called burning tongue syndrome or so I believe. The loss of oestrogen causes it and for the salivary. glands to not keep the mouth so moist.
I read avoiding spicy foods helps.
