Ie posted in here lots with symptoms like hot flushes, palpitations, headaches, insomnia etc but I have a new sympton and I dont know if it's a hormonal one.
2 days ago i started feeling uncomfortable around my vagina, particularly my urethra. It's not painful but uncomfortable, almost tingly. It's really hard to explain. Any advice please?

It's lack of estrogen. are you using hrt for your other symptoms and if not is there a reason? If you don't want hrt you can still use vaginal estrogen - cream or tiny pill to insert- to get rid of the feelings you have. don't ignore or it may get worse.

Thanks Jingling I was hoping you would post as I see you on lots of other threads.
I'm not on HRT yet...the GP was reluctant because of my headaches but I am 43 so I think its inevitable. I go back next week so hopefully get some joy then.

Headaches? Is this migraine? The Migraine TRust has info on this to the effect that migraine is not relevant re HRT. So your GP sounds a bit crap if that's their thinking...

Likewise if you are having an early peri meno at only 43, it's more reason why you ought to use hrt.

Do some reading around it all so you can go in and discuss :)
