Currently on everol conti (only a few left) and in Spain. Seen lots of reports of women buying over the counter - went to 2 local pharmacies and both times they have refused me saying they don't have similar. For those of you that have got what did you ask for and how did you get it? Thanks

It's called Evopad Conti over there.

teta · 07/09/2019 20:33

Both contain Oestradiol Hemihydrate.

Sorry to disagree, neither Evopad Sequi or Evopad Conti have been marketed in Spain. Only Evopad, the Evorel only equivalent is available.
I'm desperately looking for Sequi, or at a push the Conti half of the pack
The problem is that HRT take up in Spain is considerably lower then UK, so the choices are more limited

teta · 12/09/2019 20:21

Oh really?
The thing is I'm on Everol and the Evopad is equivalent.
And friends in Spain have obtained it for me.
I googled the equivalent in Conti and it stated it was available. But I am not based in Spain and am no expert . But it's possible to pick up Evopad in Spain and then get a prescription for Utrogestan - micronised progestan in the UK. There's no shortage of this.

Hi Teta
sorry didn't mean to alarm you.
As I said and you've emphasised Everol/Evopad is available - thats the estradiol only patch.
Both Evopad Conti and Evopad Sequi are licensed in Spain, but they're not sold/marketed/available.
You're right you could try a new combination of estradiol and progestin, but what you've suggested is a different progestin and a different formulation - I really would see your GP to discuss all options first

teta · 14/09/2019 07:28

No, you weren't alarming me. I'm fine on my regime. But I was trying to help the above poster. I'm wondering whether she did in fact fine anything equivalent to he UK regime. Possibly not.
