Evorel patch changed to Estradot patch by GP or Pharmacy due to shortages

Hi
I have been on Evorel patch since March, all good, however I think due to the problems with supply I have just been given Estradot patch, both 50mcg. Do any of you know if it is exactly the same and just a name change or are there any differences that I should be aware of?
Many thanks

I'm not a pharmacist but I am patient facing. The problem is that both of these items are affected by the shortage. I believe they are the closest match as my pharmacist has been recommending these but this is going to become quite a problem going forward. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

You can easily find what's in any drug by putting the name into google and bringing up the patient leaflet/ info. Or any of the main online menopause support sites have lists of drugs- menopause matters and Dr Louise Newson's website.

Is Evorel estrogen only because Estradot is.

I had to change my patches like for like and I think the only symptoms I experienced were the worry of whether they were any different, they don't seem to be.
