Why is my skin breaking out?

I'm 45 and perimenopausal (still have regular periods but they've got shorter). I don't have oily skin, but it keeps breaking out, esp. on my chin. I didn't have much acne in my teens so this is just weird.

Why is this happening is my 40's?! I'm pretty sure it's hormonal as it tends to happen just before my period. Getting fine lines is annoying enough, but acne AND lines are Angry

Feel your pain as going through similar. It was bad enough as a teenager but need a cream for fine lines and spots. My mood swings are horrendous too, will be slamming doors before I know it. Sorry I can't help but sympathize.

It is a thing around menopause, according to my research. I've been getting hormonal spots on my chin too. Really big, horrible ones that take ages to mature.

I know, it's yukky. Spots and lines, what a combination. Grin
