So I’ve just finished my first 28 days, and earlier this week starts what I thought would be a light bleed.Wrong! 5 days in and the bleeding seems heavier, certainly heavier than anything I had before menopause/perimenopause. Anyone else had this?
I’m hoping I’m just ‘settling in’. But if this is it, the way it works, then I’m not sure I want to continue. I’m also cramping almost continually.

I'm not on any HRT but I have an appointment to start something hopefully next week. Apart from the heavy bleeding do you feel better for taking Femiston and has your symptoms if any disappeared?

I’ve been taking Femoston for a year now and bleed heavily too. I thought it was just me but maybe it’s a side effect?

Well if it is, its a pretty crap side effect! I haven't had periods this heavy or prolonged since I had children. I must say in defence of Femoston though that during my first 28 days I quickly noticed that vaginal dryness improved. Must keep reminding myself!

I think that’s why I’m putting up with it, as my mood is stable, vaginal dryness disappeared and hot flushes completely gone.

I am on Femoston 2/10 and no meno symptoms at all. I gain a bit weight but it is ok.
