I have started experience the most aching arms ever, feel like they are so heavy to lift and if I lie down holding my phone for example I can only do it for a very short time ! For a while now my elbow joint on right has been aching and feeling bruised and my thumb joint also recently started throbbing and seems slightly swollen. Sometimes it’s hard to press the lock button on the car key ! I thought this was because it was so cold and I have raynauds so very poor circulation. Husband thinks I’m mad but it’s really bothering me. On Sunday night I woke up in the middle of the night and could only move my head body completely paralysed but after a couple of minutes this went and I googled and seems this is just sleep paralysis which is nothing to worry about. Any experienced these really achy limbs? I’m on hrt sandrema and progesterone day 15-26. Arms hurting now just typing ! I have go appt but not til 17th. I’m worried

Hi, I was just about to post a similar thread! I'm 46 with oestrogen levels and symptoms that indicate the start of menopause.

I can hardly even lift the kettle my elbows ache so badly, my fingers are to achy to spray deodorant without wincing and my back, hips and knees are all sore too.

I've had numerous blood tests taken and they haven't flagged up anything other than Peri meno - surely it shouldn't be this painful!!
