Hi Ladies, new to Mumsnet and looking for some advice . I was diagnosed with another bowel issue last June at the same time I started with irregular periods. I’ve never felt well for more than a few days at a time since in my stomach . My doc did loads of bloods last Nov & ruled everything out . All she said was my bowel issue could also have left me with Ibs keep a food diary! I have since & eat very healthy don’t drink or smoke & go to the gym daily . It can be anything I eat no rhyme or reason & I’ve also gone dairy free ! So now thinking is this a peri symptom the upset tummy , gurling etc ? It does seem to be more mid cycle or when I’m due even if I don’t have a bleed . None of my friends have this symptom but have plenty of things o don’t oh the joys ha ! Any advice would be really greatly received and appreciated .

My GERD is in freefall since peri hit. I’ve constant heartburn, nausea and sometimes vomiting. I take omeprazole but they no longer work like they used to do.

Hi Mistress Mouse how awful for you makes you feel ill all the time I imagine . I also have ompeprazole but now take as & when required . All these things literally came on last year all at once ! I’ve also got bladder uncomfort today along with I think thrush for the 1st time ! Been treating it as but am wondering if this also is a sign of peri ?
