Wrong prescription?

I was prescribed femseven sequi today, leaving aside the fact that I cant even get it at the pharmacy, would this be the right drug given that I have a mirena coil? I did ask the gp but she was a bit vague
Also told me that HRT was only prescribed for hot flushes, I don't have these but have every other symptom, I also have family history of strokes in 50's
I feel like just giving up and battling on myself

You should not be having a sequi patch that's way too much progesterone with a mirena, you will get so me nasty side effects, nausea, bloating, mood swings and an increased risked of breast cancer you need an oestrogen only patch such as evorel. This is unbelievable that a gp wouldn't know this... and also hrt is not just for hot flushes you need a new doctor.

Also patches pose no increased stroke risk.

You need to consider reporting this as it's negligence/ wrong prescribing. How many other women is she doing this with and endangering lives? It's actually a potentially serious mistake.

At the very least you have to have a 1:1 conversation with her and tell her she is not able to prescribe correctly.

You just need oestrogen gel, oestradiol
