Peri menopause and migraine

My doctor has suspected in the last year that I could be hitting early menopause - I am 44.
I went back this week as my migraines have been so much worse - lasting longer with no relief. I am also get clumsier, forgetful and struggling with words. She thinks this is all part of the menopause but has referred me for an MRI just in case.
Thoughts/experience? Thanks

Headaches and brain fog are very common peri-menopausal symptoms. I had them when I started going through it at 45. Hot flushes, insomnia, horrible anxiety, aching joints quickly followed. I started HRT and all of my symptoms disappeared.
