interim bleeding or another period?

I started my latest monthly period on 30 May and it lasted for the usual 5 days. However, on Thursday 6th June up until last night, I needed a panty liner for what I thought was some spotting but its getting slightly heavier today and I have mild period pain-like cramps!

Sorry for waffling on about my menstrual cycle but I have a point I promise!!! I wondered at what point does inter-period spotting become another period? Obviously I'm in peri territory and apart from it being a nuisance there isn't really a problem but I'm interested how other people would class this bleed?

It sounds part and parcel of peri. That can be 2 periods in a month, periods that start then stop then start again, and any variation.
This bleed started almost the day after a normal 5-day period? I'd class that as a longer bleed, not a new one.
