Boob pain on HRT

Anyone?

I have one sided very pointed/specific area boob pain. I have a mirena coil and am using oestrogen gel. Have massive G cup boobs, and they've hurt on and off all my life, but this is a 'thing'. Sometimes a stabbing twang takes my breath away.

I had a mammogram in December which was clear, and I can't feel anything 'weird'. Assume it's just random pain.

Can I nurofen it?

Only just seen this - I get random stabby breast pain and have done for the past 20 years. I think it's hormonal as I tend to get it just before my period but lately it's been more unpredictable. I've never thought of trying painkillers though - it comes and goes too much.
