Hair loss on legs

Hi
I'm almost 52,been in Meno for 2 or 3 yrs now&am on estrogen only hrt patches for 2 yrs since I had my hysterectomy.
I've noticed the last few months or so that I've lost alot of the hair on my legs.they used to get covered but now don't.i don't have to shave them as often.
I don't seem to have lost any anywhere else.it all still looks&feels the same.
So is this normal or should I be seeing gp about it?
I sometimes get the odd aching pain in my calf muscles, mainly my left but has been also in my right.dont know if that has any bearing on it but don't want to drip feed.
Thanks for any help.

Ooh this is me too! I have lost my armpit hair as well. It's not total hair loss just every thing is much sparser and slower growing - I've had one leg wax this year. I just assumed it was part of the ageing process post menopause (early meno means I'm well past it but would be interested to know for sure.

Yes, I'm 3/4 years past menopause (aged 50). Also on HRT. Still have leg/underarm/pubic hair, but it is sparser and grows much more slowly. There has to be some up side! Sadly the hair on my head is also a little thinner, but still seems to be growing.
My body hair also stopped growing both times I was pregnant.

I wouldn't see a reason to visit GP about something as trivial as this.
I'm 51; there's lots more hair on my face in recent yrs. I can't tell about anywhere else (I am not going to visit GP about my furry face).

Mines not stopped growing or got sparser anywhere else though that I've noticed.just my legs.

I noticed this too OP and also that my pubes are a bit sparser. Completely normal I think

Hi I’m 40 and on hrt following a total abdominal hysterectomy two years ago, my weight has ballooned, really struggling to loose weight, I’m so depressed because of the significant weight gain please help!

Craftycorvid · 01/06/2019 22:32

Yep, sparse leg hair here too. Weird innit? Armpits and elsewhere seem as before Grin

I am 53 not on HRT my leg hair is definitely a lot sparser yet the hairs on my chin are sprouting out like nobody’s business. I wouldn’t visit the GP re this OP just part of ageing process whether on HRT or not.
