Can it cause mild heart palpitations and will this settle down? Have estraderm 50

However if the palpitations started at the same time as starting these patches then yes I guess there's a strong possibility it may be the patches.

Unlikely. Palpitations are a symptom of peri so may be coincidence as the amount of estrogen in your system after 1 day of a patch is minute.

Hi processedpea I've started HRT this week too I already have the mirena so have evorel 50 patch to go with it. Could your palpitations be caused by anxiety from taking a new medication? For me just reading the side effects on the leaflet is anxiety inducing (although palpitations is one of the reasons I've started hrt) if you are worried do Get medical help even if to put your mind at rest.

Hi Rosie me too and had the mirena replaced on Monday too ! I have had a it of a bug so the palpitations are prob due to that. Can't wait to see the hrt benefits

Me too I'm currently having about 30 hot flushes a day as well as chronic insomnia so am hoping ind preying that I'll see the back of them😡
